Officials in nearby Armstrong County will consider installing a siren or some other new system to alert those who live near the Armstrong County Jail about jail breaks.
Several residents have reportedly complained to the county commissioners that they had no idea that 38-year-old Robert Crissman had escaped last week. He is accused of killing a woman before he was captured the next day.
The commissioners are scheduled to hold a special meeting Monday.
