A Lyndora woman is facing felony aggravated assault charges after she’s accused of kicking a police officer.
Butler Township Police found 57-year-old Robin Hecker lying in the middle of the street near the intersection of Penn Avenue and Chesapeake Street on Friday night.
Police said Hecker was highly intoxicated, and they called an ambulance to the scene.
That’s when Hecker allegedly became very argumentative and verbally abusive with officers and EMTs. Hecker was placed under arrest for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. As she attempted to escape handcuffs, Hecker is accused of kicking an officer in the groin.
The officer was not seriously injured.
