The Nascar Sprint Cup Series heads to the road course in Watkins Glen, New York this Sunday. Kyle Busch won the first road course race in late June at Sonoma, California. He’s the last Sprint Cup driver to sweep both road-course events in a single season, doing so in 2008. Busch’s total of four wins this year matches Jimmie Johnson for the Sprint Cup Series lead. A.J. The X-Finity Series is also at Watkins Glen Saturday. The Camping World Truck Series is idle.
Fab Four Racing tonight at Lernerville Speedway with racing beginning at 7:30pm. It is the Pittsburgh Circle Track’s annual Night at the Races, and the track will be hosting the Injured Driver’s Benefit Auction.
Saturday Night Live Racing at Mercer Raceway Park this weekend features all divisions, and the 2nd annual Putsy Kekich Memorial race for the 410 sprints, and a top prize of $4,000 to win.
