In advance of his concert on Saturday (August 1st) at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Kenny Chesney visited the Chiefs at training camp on Friday (July 31st). The superstar shared some images at training with the fans on the big screens, prompting an immediate eruption.
Kenny co-headlined Saturday’s show with Jason Aldean, where they drew an unprecedented crowd of 57,368, according to officials with the Kansas City Chiefs, breaking the stadium record of 56,132, set by Pink Floyd in June 1994.
Kenny and his band entertained for more than two hours, closing his set with a duet with Jason on “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” and a cover of John Mellencamp’s “Hurt So Good.” By that time, both were wearing Chiefs jerseys.
Other acts on the bill included Old Dominion, Cole Swindell, and Brantley Gilbert.
