Training camp is officially underway for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Players reported to St. Vincent College in Latrobe yesterday, and will break camp on Saturday, August 22nd.
This year’s camp is a special milestone for the team, as it’s the 50th consecutive training camp at St. Vincent College.
Entrances for players such as star receiver Antonio Brown were very elaborate. Brown reported to camp in a $500,000 custom made Rolls-Royce Phantom, which was painted black and gold, and included his signature.
Coach Mike Tomlin also said that five players were put on the Physically Unable to Perform List (Pup List). They include offensive tackle Mike Adams, quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, cornerback Senquez Golson, linebacker Shawn Lemon and center Maurkice Pouncey.
The first open practice will be held Sunday afternoon.
