Casey James and Sony Nashville have ended their partnership after five years. The former American Idol finalist released one self-titled album in 2012, as well as four singles. His latest single, “Fall Apart,” which was slated to be the debut single from a sophomore album, which was expected to be released later this year. The split with Sony reportedly took place in June.
Casey recently tweeted, “I appreciate the dedication and sometimes even hard work that my fans are giving. It’s inspiring. Thank you. #passion”
Casey’s biggest hits were “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night” and “Crying On A Suitcase,” released in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
