Miranda Lambert emerged publicly on Wednesday (July 22nd) night in Nashville for the first time since her high-profile split from Blake Shelton. She showed up to support her good friend, singler Ashley Monroe, who was debuting music from her new album, The Blade, at a club in East Nashville. Miranda even got up on stage and joined Ashley on the song “Heart Like Mine,” which appeared on Miranda’s 2011 Revolution album and was co-written by Ashley.
Miranda put on a happy face, smiling and laughing the entire time she was on stage. Before the song started, Ashley pulled Miranda in for a sweet hug and a kiss on the head.
Vince Gill, who co-produced Ashley’s album, and Little Big Town‘s Phillip Sweet were also in attendance.
The Blade is in stores and at online retailers today (Friday, July 24th).
Miranda is set to perform a small, sold-out Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Unplugged show at Nashville bar 3rd & Lindsley on Tuesday (July 28th).
