The 20th race of the Nascar Sprint Cup season is this Sunday at the famed Brickyard in Indianapolis. Jeff Gordon is the defending race champion, and this is his final race at the legendary track. Gordon has a record five Sprint Cup victories at Indianapolis. Hear coverage on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com beginning at 2:30pm Sunday.
The X-Finity Series will also race at the Brickyard Saturday.
It’s a busy schedule tonight at Lernerville Speedway with three divisions of Modified’s visiting the Action Track. Headlined by the $2,000-to-win DIRTcar Northeast Modifieds and the $1,500-to-win Renegades of Dirt E-mods features. The DIRTcar Sportsman will also run and the Rush Late Models will complete their feature that was rained out Friday, July 3rd. Racing begins at 7:30pm.
Because of rainouts this season, three different promotions along with all six divisions will be held Saturday night at Mercer Raceway Park, including fireworks. Racing begins at 7pm.
