Zach Johnson won the lengthy British Open in Scotland Monday after the event was delayed a day by rain. Monday was also a wet day, but Johnson prevailed in a four-hole playoff over Louis Oosthuizen and Marc Leishman to win his second major event. Johnson shot a final round 66, which was the lowest final round for a British Open champion at St. Andrews. Jordan Spieth, who was attempting to win the first three majors of the season, had a chance to join the playoff but missed by one stroke.
