Three area residents have been appointed to the Butler County Community College Board of Trustees.
Ray Steffler was reappointed to a six-year term. He has been a board member since 1985.
Brian McCafferty was appointed for a six-year term and Steven Newcaster was appointed to a four-year term. McCafferty is the owner of KENMAC Rentals & Sales in Butler; Newcaster is a Senior Associate at Burt Hill Architects/Stantec in Butler.
The Butler County commissioners unanimously approved all three appointments at their meeting Wednesday. The board of trustees is a policy-making body that provides direction and guidance to the President and administration of the College. There are 15 members.
