The August 1st U.S. Cellular 250 X-FINITY Series race at Iowa Speedway will be the final start of Kenny Wallace’s twenty-seven-year NASCAR career. The race will mark Wallace’s third start of the 2015 season and his 547th overall, a series record. He’ll drive the Number-20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, which is currently fourth in the owner standings. Wallace made his NASCAR debut in 1988 at Martinsville Speedway. He finished among the top ten in the X-FINITY Series point standings in ten of his fourteen full-time seasons, including a runner-up finish to Bobby Labonte in 1991. Wallace has nine race wins and ten poles. In recent years, he has shifted his career focus to broadcasting. Wallace currently appears on FOX Sports One’s “NASCAR RaceDay” and “NASCAR Victory Lane.”
