Authorities say a man is facing theft charges after selling a stolen dirt bike.
According to Butler State Police, a Kawasaki KLX 140L was taken from a garage in the 400 block of East Slippery Rock Street in Chicora on June 20, 2015. That bike was then sold to a man in Bruin.
After the homeowner reported the crime, an investigation led to the bike being recovered and returned to the owner. Police then arrested 22-year-old Matthew Wiles in connection with that incident.
The dirt bike is worth around $1,800.00.
