Cole Swindell is joining an A-list of Major League Baseball Hall of Famers and celebrities participating in All-Star Game activities later this month. The singer has been invited to play in the Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday (July 12th) at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. The game, which also includes Hall of Famers Ozzie Smith, Rollie Fingers andAndre Dawson, will be televised on ESPN the next night (Monday, July 13th) immediately following the Gillette Home Run Derby.
Cole posted to Facebook following MLB’s announce writing that he’s “Never been on a baseball card before!.” He said, “Being a big baseball fan, I’ve always wanted to attend the All Star festivities. I’m excited that I’ve been given the opportunity to play for my first visit!”
Cole is out on the Burn It Down tour with headliner Jason Aldean, with a show on Thursday (July 9th) in Ottawa, ON.
He continues making his way up the charts with “Let Me See Ya Girl.”
