Several family friendly events will be taking place at Alameda Park this week.
The events will kick off on Monday evening with Monday Movies in the Park. This week’s free family movie is “An American Tale,” which will start at 8:30pm at the Masonic Shelter. The event will go on, rain or shine.
A local blues band, The May Hollow Remedy, will perform Tuesday evening at the park. This free concert will take place at 6:30pm at the Odd Fellow Gazebo, and is open to the public.
The park will feature two events on Thursday to close out the week. In the morning, children are invited to Storytime Adventures, which will run from 11:30am to Noon.
The events will conclude when a Pittsburgh based magician performs for local families. That show will take place at 6:30pm Thursday evening at the Carousel Shelter.
