David Marcus of the Butler BlueSox has been named the Prospect League Player of the Week. Marcus had the most hits in the league with 11 last week while the Sox were on a six-game road trip. The hits included a home run and three doubles. He is tied for the league-lead in home runs with three. Marcus has a batting average of .373 this season, second-best in the league.
Butler will host Richmond tonight and tomorrow at 6:35pm. Tonight is the end of the Prospect League first half.
