Sprint Cup Series haulers will arrive at Sonoma Raceway today as preparations continue for Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 … but before they do, they’ll roll through the streets of Sacramento in the track’s fifth annual NASCAR Hauler Parade. Trucks will make their way over the Tower Bridge and around the state capitol before starting the seventy-mile trip to the Northern California road course. The California State Assembly has proclaimed today “NASCAR Day” in the city of Sacramento and a five thousand-dollar donation will be made to the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities. The Hauler Parade will start at 12 noon (local time) … The first on-track action of the weekend at Sonoma Raceway will be opening practice at mid-day Friday. Hear the race on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com at 2pm Sunday.
The Camping World Truck Series and X-Finity Series are idle this weekend.
