The Butler BlueSox lost their fifth game in a row last night, dropping a 4-1 decision to the first-place Jamestown Jammers. The Sox outhit Jamestown 6-5, but left seven men on base. The game was delayed almost an hour-and-a-half due to a storm that also knocked power out at the ballpark.
After a day off today, the Sox will begin a six-game road trip in Richmond, Indiana. Butler is now 8-13 overall, and 6-1/2 games behind Jamestown in the first half of the Prospect League.
