21-year old Jordan Spieth won the U.S. Open in the state of Washington Sunday, capturing his second major of the season. Dustin Johnson had a chance to win and even force a tie on the final hole, but three putted the 18th to lose by a stroke. Spieth also won the Masters earlier this season, and will now continue his quest for a Grand Slam at next month’s British Open. He became the youngest U.S. Open champion since 1923. Johnson, seeking his first major title, had a 12-foot eagle putt for the victory, but settled for a bogey.
