The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired Mike Sullivan as their new head coach in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The team is their top minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League. The 47-year old Sullivan most recently served as player development coach for the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, and has been the head coach of the Boston Bruins in the past.
