The Butler BlueSox lost to the Champion City Kings 4-3. BlueSox starter Ben Hartz began the night by retiring the first 12 Kings batters in a row, but got into walk trouble in the fifth and sixth innings, allowing four runs on just two hits. The victory ended a six-game losing streak for the Kings. The Sox missed an opportunity to gain ground on the first-place Jamestown Jammers who fell to West Virginia 2-1 last night. Butler will visit West Virginia tonight and Friday before returning home to host Jamestown Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is a Honda North Fireworks night.
