The St. Louis Cardinals organization is under a federal probe regarding the illegal hacking of a Houston Astros computer database. A former Cardinals executive was hired in Houston as their general manager back in 2011, and the Cardinals are being investigated for allegedly hacking into the Astros database by using information that was left behind. The Astros and Cardinals, along with the Pittsburgh Pirates, were all in the National League Central Division until the Astros moved to the American League in 2012. The Astros have since gone from the worst team in baseball, to leading the A.L. West.
