Hunter Hayes, Scotty McCreery, The Swon Brothers and JT Hodges are among those donating their time and talent to the 6th Annual ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp, taking place June 19-23 in Nashville. The week-long program is for people with Williams syndrome, and campers will participate in various music-related activities, including a songwriting workshop and recording session, which will end with a live performance on the Grand Ole Opry.
Last week’s 2015 CMA Music Festival saw a record-setting daily attendance of 87,680 fans – besting 2014 numbers by 9.6 percent.
Attendance figures for 2015 include four-day ticket packages and promotional tickets, as well as attendance in the AT&T U-verse Fan Fair X, and free areas downtown. In all, more than 500 artists participated in more than 250 hours of concerts on 11 stages (seven of which were free). The 2016 CMA Music Festival will be held TJune 9-12.
