A Butler County woman placed in the Top 10 in this weekend’s Miss Pennsylvania pageant.
Miss Butler County 2015 Lyric Ackelson gave a vocal performance for her talent portion of the program. The 21-year-old Slippery Rock University student competed against 39 other young women from across the state.
Ashley Schmider, 23, from Neshaminy Valley was named Miss Pennsylvania 2015 and will compete in the Miss America pageant later this year.
