There is one athlete from western Pennsylvania that is competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
John-Henry Krueger, 22, grew up in Allegheny County skating at rinks across the region. He’s now in PyeongChang and will compete in four races as a short track speedskater.
This is his first Olympics, although it’s been a long time coming. He had hoped to go to Sochi in the last Winter games, but illness held him back.
