A Renfrew man was killed in a car crash early Friday morning along Route 422 in Summit Township.
According to the Butler County 911 Center, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene shortly before 2am on Friday.
Our news partners at WPXI say that the victim was identified as 21-year-old Austin Grupp. He was a current student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and was a member of the rugby team. Grupp was also a graduate of Butler High School.
The State Police investigation is ongoing.
