The first Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Butler County opened on Monday.
The Nashville-based restaurant chain will be located off Route 228 in Cranberry Township, in the former location of the Echo Restaurant. About 150 full-and part-time employees are expected to be hired for the restaurant and retail store.
A private ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with local and county officials on Friday.
