A health system in neighboring Beaver County has been hit with what’s being described as a widespread “cyber security incident” Tuesday.
Hospitals and other facilities in the Heritage Valley Health System have been affected, including satellite and community locations.
A Heritage Valley spokesperson told our news partners at WPXI-TV that they have implemented procedures and made operational adjustments to ensure safe patient care continues.
Heritage Valley Health System is a $480 million network serving four Pennsylvania counties, including Butler, as well as parts of Ohio and West Virginia.
