There is still time to sign up for an activity to benefit the Mars Area High School Marching Band coming up this weekend.
The 9th annual Mars Band on the Run 5K Run/Walk, 10K, and 1K Children’s Fun Run will take place this Saturday beginning at 8:55 a.m. at Mars Area High School.
The race begins and ends at Mars Area High School. A post-race party will include refreshments, music, and prizes. Awards will be presented to the top male and female runners in various categories and age groups.
Today (Monday) is the last day to register at the reduced price of $25 but registration will still be accepted on race day for $30. All proceeds benefit the Mars Area High School Marching Band which will provide entertainment along the race route. Visit marsband5k.com for online registration.
