A Saxonburg teenager is one of the people accused of attempting to break into a Slippery Rock school last month.
According to State Police, three men attempted to gain access to the Allegheny Valley School around 1 p.m. April 23rd while employees and residents were inside.
Two of the men fled in an unknown direction but 18-year-old Zakari Dovenspike stayed and continued to try to open the door while ringing the doorbell. Dovenspike allegedly claimed to be with the Drug Enforcement Agency and when university and borough police arrived they found him sleeping on a bench near the door.
After giving police a false name, Dovenspike was arrested and charged. Police are continuing their investigation.
