Slippery Rock University Radio Hall of Fame announced the inductees for their class of 2017.
The Butler Radio Network’s Bob Cupp was included among the five inductees. Cupp has worked at WBUT since 1984, and is currently the host of the Breakfast Club and program director on WBUT 1050 AM, the sports director, and host of the Grass Roots Show on The Rock Station 97.7 FM.
Cupp joins Barb Spryn, Kim Cosden (Alexander), Hugh Slack, and Doreen Marcial Poreba. Mark French was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and current SRU junior Morgan Koziar was named the winner of the inaugural Mike McHugh Undergrad Excellence Award.
The Hall of Fame dinner will be Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Robert M. Smith Student Center. Tickets are available for $25.
