The Pittsburgh Penguins fell on the road against the Washington Capitals on Saturday night, losing by a final of 4-2.
Scoring for the Penguins were Carl Hagelin and Phil Kessel. The Pens led 2-1 after two periods, but allowed three unanswered goals. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 29 shots in the losing effort. Captain Sidney Crosby played in Saturday’s game. Crosby suffered a concussion in Game 3, and missed Game 4 due to the injury.
With the loss, the Pens still hold a 3-2 series lead over the Capitals, with Game 6 coming to Pittsburgh on Monday evening. With a win, the Penguins will move onto the Eastern Conference Finals.
