The Butler BlueSox have named a new manager.
Cody Herald, 24, will lead the team in their ninth season, which begins at the end of the month at Kelly Automotive Park in the City of Butler.
“We are excited to have Cody on board as our new manager,” Wink Robinson, part of the BlueSox ownership group, said in a statement. “He has proven himself over the past few summers and we feel he will have a positive impact on the team.”
Herald is a Butler High School graduate and spent two summers with the BlueSox as a player.
