Friday starts a couple of days worth of celebrations in Mars, PA of the planet Mars’ New Year.
At 4:30pm Friday, a special activity will kick off the line up of speakers for the evening. A live interview with the Johnson Space Center will take place on a large screen in downtown Mars with a Q&A. NASA representatives will also be speaking on topics like the Mars Exploration Program and human landing sites on the planet.
In the Mars Library parking lot at 6pm, there will be Brewfest with a number of breweries, a distillery and a winery.
At 7pm, you can catch a sci-fi parade.
To close down the evening, there will be a fireworks display after the countdown to the Mar’s New Year at 9:45PM.
