The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Cincinnati Reds 12-3 last night. Tyler Glasnow earned his first major league win, allowing three earned runs on four hits over six innings. All three runs Glasnow gave up came in the first inning. He walked four and struck out five. Wade LeBlanc earned his first save of the season. Josh Harrison hit his fifth home run of the season and drove in three. (He struck out the other three times at bat). Tyler Glasnow helped his cause, with a two-run single and even drew a bases-loaded walk in the game. Allen Hanson had a triple and scored twice.
The Bucs and Reds meet again tonight at 7:10pm. Jameson Taillon pitches for the Pirates, who are 12-14 overall, and two-games behind first place Chicago.
