The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Washington Capitals for the second time this week on Saturday night, winning by a final of 6-2.
Leading the Penguins offensively were Phil Kessel and Jake Gunetzel, as well as Captain Sidney Crosby. Kessel finished with two goals and one assist, Gunetzel scored two goals and had one assist, and Crosby had two assists. Evgeni Malkin finished with one goal and one assist, and goalie Marc-Andre Fleury made 34 saves.
With Saturday’s win, the Penguins take a two games to none series lead over the Capitals in this best of seven series.
The two teams will travel to Pittsburgh for two games, which will be played on Monday and Wednesday. You can catch both games, with pregame coverage each night starting at 7pm on WISR 680AM. Faceoff for both games is set for 7:30pm.
