The four candidates running to be the next mayor of the city of Butler will participate in a debate tonight.
Republican candidates Mike Walter, Ben Smith and incumbent Mayor Tom Donaldson, along with Democratic candidate Jamie Goehring, will face questions at 6 p.m. Wednesday inside the Grand Ballroom on Main Street.
WBUT will broadcast the debate live on 1050AM and stream it live online at wbut.com. The event is free and open to the public. It’s sponsored by the Butler Eagle and Butler Downtown.
