The city of Butler will officially open their newest parking garage next month.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the Centre City Parking Garage on Tuesday, May 9 beginning at 10 a.m.
Parking Manager Jim Chiprean will be one of those speaking about the 239-space structure located at the corner of Cedar and Cunningham streets. Light refreshments will be served.
The garage became fully operational back in March for leaseholders as well as daily parkers. The final part of the Centre City project, the Marriott SpringHill Suites which sits next door to the parking garage, is estimated to be completed this August.
