Another discount grocery store is coming to Butler.
Sharp Shopper is slated to move into the former Friedman’s location in the Point Plaza shopping center off New Castle Road in Butler Township, according to the store’s website. An opening date has not yet been set.
Butler’s location will be the grocer’s ninth store. There are other locations in Pennsylvania and Virginia. According to the company, Sharp Shopper features closeouts from the grocery industry due to overproduction, packaging changes, seasonal items or warehouse damage.
