Former major league baseball player Alex Rodriguez will visit Butler County next week.
Slippery Rock University is bringing in Rodriguez on Thursday, April 27 for an event titled “Mindset of a Champion: A Moderated discussion with Alex Rodriquez.”
It will include a 45-minute discussion followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session.
The general public can attend for $5. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Rodriquez, who is not on a Major League Baseball roster this season after 22 years with the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees, is in the midst of a speaking tour.
