The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Cincinnati Reds 6-2 last night. The Pirates bullpen allowed four earned runs after starting pitcher Jameson Taillon allowed two runs on four hits over six innings. Andrew McCutche and Josh Harrison had two hits a piece. Starling Marte had a hit and stole home.
The Bucs have fallen to 3-4 overall, and will try to avoid a series sweep tonight at 7:05pm. Ivan Nova will start for the Pirates. The Pirates return to Boston tomorrow to make-up a rained out game. First pitch is 2:05pm.
