Butler County Commissioner Kim Geyer has been elected as an officer on a statewide board.
Geyer will serve a two year term as the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges Board of Directors beginning July 1. This is Geyer’s second appointment to the organization’s Board of Directors.
New officers were elected April 3 as part of the commission’s annual meeting in Harrisburg.
In addition to her responsibilities as Butler County Commissioner, Geyer has been a Trustee of Butler County Community College since 2011.
The PA Commission for Community Colleges is a voluntary membership association with a goal of advocating for the needs community colleges to federal and state governments. For more information, visit pacommunitycolleges.org.
