A local school is asking for votes after being named a finalist in a contest.
Mars Area Middle School’s Sustainability Lab entry is competing in the Infy Maker Awards Contest.
The contest awards $10,000 for projects that encourage the use of technology to solve real world problems. Mars Area Sustainability Lab brings 7th and 8th graders together toward a goal of promoting sustainability through a focus on food production and farming.
Those interested in voting must have a Facebook account. One vote is permitted per person per day and voting will finish Monday, April 24th.
