There is still time to register kids interested in learning a valuable foreign language for a class in Cranberry beginning this week.
Six weekly hour-long sessions of Introductory Spanish are being offered by Cranberry’s Parks and Recreation Department. A class for ages 3 to 6 and another for ages 7 to 12 will begin Tuesday, April 11th. A similar class dealing with French for ages 7 to 12 starts this Wednesday.
Students will learn Spanish through the use of puppet skits, songs, stories, interactive games and cultural activities. Those taking the French class will taste French foods as well as experience a virtual tour of the world’s French-speaking countries.
The fee for each program is $75 for residents and $80 for non-residents. Online registration is available.
