The Butler County Genealogical Society is having their annual lock-in at the Butler Public Library later this week.
The event will begin when the library closes at 5 p.m. Friday and continue until 10 p.m.
Those attending should bring research and questions as the group will have access to computers and the special collections librarian as well as other group members. The library also has Ancestry online researching service.
Non-members are welcome but everyone must arrive before the library closes and join the group on the second floor. Those attending should bring money for copies or documents can be saved electronically.
