Two local townships have received regional recognition at a ceremony held last week.
Butler and Cranberry townships were two of 51 regional municipalities to be named Banner Communities by the Allegheny League of Municipalities. The announcement was made during a ceremony last Friday (3/31).
This is the fifth year of the program that recognizes communities committed to professional development, prudent fiscal management, transparency, accountability, and proactive communications.
