The Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong counties is busy in our community this month and will host an event this weekend.
According to Executive Director Jennifer Bindernagel, “We have a ‘Breakfast with the Easter Bunny’ on Palm Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church (near the Clearview Mall) and everybody’s invited.”
For a goodwill donation, those planning to attend will enjoy a pancake and sausage breakfast as well as have the chance to have pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.
With tax filing day just two weeks away, the Blind Association also offers secure and certified paper shredding through their Out of Sight Shredding service.
For the past six years, disabled employees have earned a paycheck and returned about $2, 000 per month in revenue to the Blind Association through shredding. For more information about this service, call 724-256-5169.
