The Pittsburgh Penguins visit the New York Rangers tonight in Madison Square Garden hoping to break a four-game losing streak. The Pens sent three players back to the minors Thursday, indicating that forward Jake Guentzel and defenseman Ron Hainsey will likely return to the line-up tonight. Face-off is 7pm. Wilke-Barre/Scranton winger Zach Aston-Reese has been named one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award, which is college hockey’s equivalent to the Heisman Trophy. Aston-Reese had 31 goals and 63 points over 38 games this season for Northeastern. The winner will be announced April 7th.
Four games into his professional career with the Baby Penguins, Aston-Reese has two goals and six points.
