Any spring cleaners looking to get rid of household hazardous waste or old electronics are invited to register for a collection taking place this weekend.
ECS and R an environmental services and recycling company based in Evans City is accepting the items this Saturday (4/1) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cranberry Township Public Works Operations Center.
There is a schedule of fees for different items and fees are paid at the collection site. Items that will be accepted for a fee include paints, cleaning chemicals, pesticides, pool chemicals, auto fluids, flammable liquids, fluorescent bulbs, rechargeable batteries, and certain kinds of TVs.
Those wanting to participate are asked to call ahead to register for an appointment at 866-815-0016.
