A hearing for the lawsuit brought by Mayor Tom Donaldson against three council members and the city of Butler will be held today.
The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. in Courtroom four at the Butler County Government Center.
Donaldson filed suit against the city and Councilmembers Mike Walter, Kathy Kline, and Corey Roche last December over promotions given to Butler City firefighters.
Last month, council voted to hire attorney Leo Stepanian to defend against the lawsuit at a rate of $135 per hour.
