Teachers are invited to attend a workshop this weekend at Moraine State Park.
The Project Learning Tree Teacher Workshop is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Moraine Outdoor Center and Davis Hollow Marina areas of the North Shore of the park.
This program is an award-winning environmental education program designed for teachers of kindergarten through 12th grades. Through hands-on activities, participants can earn six Act 48 hours.
Those planning to attend should bring a sack lunch and dress for the outdoors. The cost is $20 and reservations are required. Call 724-368-8811 for more information.
